Toast the Coast!

By: Mary LowellBring your family, friends and join us for a beachside celebration of this beautiful coastline, with live music, incredible participatory art, and fun games and activities! Come Toast the Coast and send a message to Harper that people — not oil — belong on these beaches.

Please invite your friends, share toastcoast.org and use #toastthecoast to let everyone know beaches are for people, not oil! and to join us on June 13.

This family friendly evening will include a 9-foot floating lantern based on the design of Roy Henry Vickers, a rap battle roasting Harper, live painting, food trucks, and hands-on art installations.

This event will be taking place on unceded Coast Salish Territory of the X?m??kw?y??m (Musqueam), S?wx?wú7mesh (Squamish), and S?l?ílw?ta? (Tsleil-Waututh) nations.

A territorial welcome and a few speakers will shed light on what we're celebrating and protecting.

Bring your plates, waterbottles, and silverware from home: This is a no-waste event! If you ride to the event The Bicycle Valet will be ready to park your bike for free.
