By: Kent ClarkGot a bike you feel like you should break out, but haven't been riding in some time? Starting Wednesday the 29th of March r/van is organizing the first of our Newbie Ride. These are easy to do, low kilometerage rides that can be done by anyone - at any age. We hold a pace between 15 and 20 km/h, and we ride for half an hour to two hours. Sounds easy? It is.

First ride: the seawall. For this ride we will be skipping the section around the park since a) it might still be closed and b) it’s too full for a large group. Instead we will cut up just before the park and route back along second beach, back around and out to Jericho.
We leave at 6pm from the Teardrop statue next to Canada Place. While you are free to just show up, pressing “attending” on the Facebook event will assure that we wait for you should be slightly (5-10 mins) late.
