By: Free the Nipple Bike RideThe ride meets at Sunset Beach Park (the big field near the corner of Beach Avenue and Bute Street) at twelve noon. Arrive early! The ride departs at 12:30PM. The route is a 10-13km leisurely ride around Stanley Park with stops to allow people to regroup and catch up. The ride will return to and end at Sunset Beach Park. All ride activities are free and are on rain or shine!

Our ride coincides with Women’s Equality Day and we aim to PROMOTE: gender equality, topless rights, body positivity, and PROTEST: gender bias, nipple censorship, and rape culture.

All genders are welcome! Family Friendly!

- The route is about 10-13km around Stanley Park. We’ll be going at a leisurely pace with stops to allow people to regroup and catch up
- Enjoy topless freedom! No tops are required by law, but please keep your bottoms on as full nudity is still illegal. ;)
- There is plenty of paid parking in the area, but it will fill up quickly.
- The 23 bus stops right by Bute St. on Beach Ave and runs by the Main Street, Yaletown, and Stadium Skytrain Stations. The 02 bus stops at Burrard and Pacific and runs through Kerrisdale and Kitsilano to Downtown.
- There are a few Mobi bike stations near the park if you need some wheels!

RIDE RULES

- Bare as you dare! Nipple pasties and body art are welcome!
- Toplessness is legal, full nudity is not. Please keep your bottoms on.
- We encourage men to wear pasties or tape as a show of solidarity for the censorship women experience on a daily basis.
- This is a body positive event. Respect the diversity of the different body types and genders.
- This is not a sexual event. We want everyone to feel safe. Ogling and lecherism will not be tolerated.
- Private parts are still private. Don't grope, touch, ogle, or comment on other peoples’ parts.
- This is a "Leave No Trace" event. Please take everything out that you bring in. Including your clothes.
- Ride safely and stay together as a group.

RIDE TIPS

- Prepare for riding rain or shine! Bring warm clothes you can easily remove once you warm up.
- If it's sunny, put on sunscreen!
- Be creative! Dress up, decoate your bike, and paint yourself!
- Wear shoes!
- Bring water!
