Sound familiar?

Cities often have lots of data on cars but much less about cycling and other micromobility modes! Pedal Poll aims to change that by conducting an annual count to evaluate the state of cycling in our communities, get a “snapshot” of what cycling looks like in communities across Canada, and build the case for more and better infrastructure! The count engages hundreds of volunteers across Canada who count road and path users to support cycling advocacy in their community.

This year's count has an exciting new twist! In addition to counting our key metric of people on bikes, we're also counting a bunch of other types of micromobility devices! We'll capture data on e-bikes, cargo bikes, shared bikes, e-scooters and more.

This year's count is taking place over 5 days between June 2 and 7. Shifts are available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at various times of day at locations across Canada. Pick your preferred time and location and help contribute to the snapshot needed to build a stronger, evidence-based case for safer infrastructure!

Your participation helps gather data that can be used both locally and nationally to support cycling advocacy! Sign up for a count shift now at https://velocanadabikes.org/pedalpoll/
