Two itty bitty questions….
1) Where is the ride ending? Back at China Creek?
2) Approx end time?
This ride is not a loop. I am still working on the route to maximize blossom viewing (which is weather dependent). I am hoping that the ride will end at the VACC’s Year of the Bike Party at W2. Not sure how long – probably a couple hours or so.
Another little question: Once you have worked out the route, will you be publishing it here so that people who want to ride just a part of it (or do it slowly at their own pace) will be able to do so?
You can see a rough outline of the route here:
http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/86550343/
There will also be maps given out to those who want them at the beginning of the ride.
The ride will be at a leisurely pace. Bill Stephen will give a short talk at the beginning of the ride and then another one and take questions just before we get to Killarney Community Centre. We will stop at Killarney for a bathroom and water break. Tim Horton’s Community Cruiser will be at the beginning of the ride with free coffee – so please bring your travel mug and get there before 11am if you want coffee and donuts. The BC Clettes will be set up at the beginning of the ride to do some filming of interactive dancing, so be sure to check that out too!
See you Saturday!
Thanks! I loved the ride – the route was awesome! The blossoms were glorious.
