Tandem Cafe's Seymour Challenge
Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 7:30am. Meet at 7:30, leave at 8.
By: ClintNOT FOR BEGINNERS. A ride starting from Tandem Bike Cafe to the top of Seymour Mountain. Over 50km in total, this ride has 13km of climbing, 1250 meters elevation, definitely a strenuous ride. Good brakes are a must, as downhill speeds can reach 80km/hr. This is a strength building ride with a nice view. Clint, the ride leader, has done this ride over 30 times, and will set a pace that a newbie can follow, but only you will get you to the top.

I’m assuming you will be biking over the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge, any idea what time you might be there? I live in North Burnaby and as much as I like the idea of coming out for the beginning of the ride the likelihood that I will get up in the morning in time to get there is pretty slim, but I would like to do the hill climb so let me know!
