For members who are not in Vancouver, you can still be part of it by getting on your bicycle, and posting a photo here.

Starting with this ride, we are going to log our collective kilometers and see how long it takes us to go from Mumbai to Manila (in metaphoric kilometers). Folks in India and the Philippines, you count too! Post your kilometers on the wall and we'll update a document every two weeks with our progress.

We'll meet at 10am at Roundhouse and have a leisurely cycle along the seawall, have a stop or two on our way towards the ending point which will be the Farmer's Market at John Hendry Park (aka Trout Lake, north parking lot). Bring cash if you would like to buy the organic and super healthy gooodies from your local farmers and artisans in support of what they are doing. (The farmer's market bit is optional at the end.)

For those who wish to stay and shop and eat with us, we'll find a spot on the grass to sit and relax before getting back on our cycles and riding back towards downtown. This can be a scenic route too depending on who is interested in staying together for a second spin after lunch.

We recommend bringing:
re-usable water bottle / mug
re-usable plastic bags if you plan to buy produce
camera

We'll be cycling rain or shine so wear what feels comfortable with options for quick changes in weather.
