Explore cycling as meditation on this casual ride to discover some of the buddha's East Van hangouts. A tasty plate of various dharma flavours both western and Asian, from ancient tradition to contemporary free-style. No experience or familiarity with formal buddhism required, just bring your bike and a little curiosity. Tea and snack provided.

The ride will finish close to its starting place, by 5:00 pm.

    Hey bicycle buddhistas! Note!

    It has come to my attention that the Google map supplied here on the Velopalooza website will takes you to a place called Napier on the North Island of New Zealand. Unfortunately, we will not be riding in New Zealand this time around, but if we do decide to do a ride there at some point we will let you know so you can pack a good lunch.

    Also, the directions to the ride starting point say that Mosaic Park is at “Napier and Woodland.” That is just plain wrong. In fact Mosaic Park is at Charles St. between Woodland Drive and McLean.

    Sorry for the misinfo! We hope to see you there, at 1pm. Just follow the path…
